This Crossbody Bag was a custom commission*. We wanted to park it in the gallery so you could see some design options available for custom orders.
This sweet LBB is a crossbody style, which can be worn over the shoulder or across the body via the adjustable strap. Although small and light weight, there is room for a small wallet, phone and more.
The basic black 'basket weave' faux leather (vinyl) accents on the exterior flap and centre panels are beautifully framed by the plain faux leather. When you open the bag, there's an explosion of colour with an oversized floral print on the flap and a chartreuse & cream geometric print on the interior of the bag ... all business on the outside, party on the inside!
The bag fastens with a magnetic snap closure and there is a small zipper pocket in the interior of the bag.
The colourful prints used on the interior of the bag are by one of my favourite designers, Tula Pink, from her Moon Garden fabric line.
Details:
Fabrics: faux leather (vinyl), 100% premium cotton as well as various interfacings and stabilizers for structure. The cotton fabric has been lightly sprayed with Scotchgard.
Approx. 6.25" tall, 7.5" wide at the top, 9" wide at the base, 2" deep.

Care:
Spot clean only – use very gentle detergent and a soft cloth (test in an inconspicuous area first); do not put in washing machine or dryer. CAUTION: If you choose to use an iron to remove any creases from the cotton interior, be very careful to not touch the vinyl pieces as they will melt. To maintain shape when not in use, stuff the bag with tissue paper. Expect normal wear and tear with use.
* The custom commission brief was for a "small black bag, and anything you want on the interior" - I'm happy to report the customer is extremely pleased with the completed bag.
