I fell in love with this fun and funky Ruby Star Society canvas print with hearts and typewriters and its offbeat colour palette ... I hope you love it, too!
The design of this large tote bag with the trapezoid centre panel allows the fab typewriter print to take centre stage. The teal faux leather featured on the side panels, handles and zipper closure coordinates beautifully and makes all of the colours pop! I did my customary 'fussy cutting' to ensure the design on the facing lined up with the hearts on the exterior.
The interior features a large slip pocket that can expand as well as a zipper pocket. There is also a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap in a rainbow coloured, herringbone style webbing. I tea-dyed the webbing to mute the colours just a tad, so that it complemented the fabrics.
While this is a very roomy tote, it was sewn on a domestic sewing machine and it's not meant for heavy loads.

Fabrics: Faux leather, cotton/linen blend canvas, 100% premium cotton as well as various interfacings and stabilizers. Fabric has been lightly sprayed with Scotchgard.
Approx. 12" tall from bottom to top, 9.5" tall from the bottom edge to the zipper panel closure, 18" wide across the top, 12.75" wide along the bottom edge, 4.25" deep at the base.
Shoulder strap length at longest (including the swivel hooks): 51".

Care:
Spot clean only – use very gentle detergent and a soft cloth (test in an inconspicuous spot first); do not put in washing machine or dryer. CAUTION: If you choose to use an iron to remove any creases from the exterior fabric or lining, the use of a pressing cloth is recommended. Do not place the iron directly on the faux leather as direct heat will damage it.
Expect normal wear and tear with use, especially on corners.
