This sling bag has found its forever home. We wanted to park it in the gallery though so you could see some other design options available for custom orders.
Lions (well, all cats, really) are one of my favourite animals - their faces are so regal and their gaze mysterious.
This one of a kind, soft-sided sling bag can be worn across the body (on your front or back) via the adjustable strap that connects to the left or right edge, depending on your preference, keeping your hands free. It's just the right size for the essentials when you're running errands or hanging out with friends.
The star of the show is the stunning, whimsical lion print in greens and blues with pops of unexpected neon colour. The fabric on the front flap was painstakingly 'fussy cut' to align with the fabric on the pocket. Coordinating prints were used for the lining, gusset and pockets. The strap is a vibrant neon green and blue webbing which works perfectly with the fabric. The fabric is by one of my favourite designers, Tula Pink, from her Everglow fabric line.
The bag fastens with a double zip closure and there is a small zipper pocket in the interior of the bag. The interior of the bag is finished with binding.

Fabrics: 100% premium cotton as well as various interfacings and stabilizers for structure.
Approx. 9.25" tall, 6.25" wide, 2" deep. Strap length is 26.5" at the shortest and 50" at longest.

Care:
Spot clean only – use very gentle detergent and a soft cloth (test in an inconspicuous area first); do not put in washing machine or dryer. CAUTION: If you choose to use an iron to remove any creases from the cotton, be very careful to not touch the webbing directly with the iron - it is recommended you use a pressing cloth to protect the materials. To maintain shape when not in use, stuff the bag with tissue paper. Expect normal wear and tear with use.
